Why would it matter if Fordham were in the top 20?

It seems that rankings mean more than other factors when considering a school. In theory, a higher ranking could mean better job placements among other things.

What is your evidence for Fordham having better job placement as a T20 than as a T30?lillawyer2 wrote:BigZuck wrote:Why would it matter if Fordham were in the top 20?

there is no evidence. Nothing was presented as fact, but as it could correlate, if moving up in the rankings. This is all hypothetical. Hypotheticals need no proof or evidence that it is actually true to be a guess. I'm guessing that if Fordham did go up in rankings and broke into the t20s job placement would be a factor in such.BigZuck wrote:What is your evidence for Fordham having better job placement as a T20 than as a T30?lillawyer2 wrote:BigZuck wrote:Why would it matter if Fordham were in the top 20?

Lets see if that does happen, did it also happen that jp also improved.

The alternative is why Fordham wont "break into the t20".BigZuck wrote:I have now jumped aboard this trainchimp wrote:this seems like a troll

You need to learn the difference between a hypothesis and a hypothetical.lillawyer2 wrote:there is no evidence. Nothing was presented as fact, but as it could correlate, if moving up in the rankings. If Fordham's job placement improved it might go up slightly in the rankings (insofar as rankings are partially based on job placement outcomes). However, going up in the rankings won't make its job placement improve. Employers don't look at those.
