I haven't heard anything else back. Maybe we will after today since a lot of seat deposits are due. I have another deposit due at another school... I guess I'll go ahead and send it in. Does anyone know if you automatically lose your seat if you deposit after deadline?

My status changed to pre-evaluation about 10 days ago. Still haven't heard anything though. I have the same problem for deposits, and will have to do the same thing. I am also pretty sure that you lose your spot if you don't send the deposit.

At least you are closer than me. I'm still in "complete" and that's it.

Oh and one thing I wondered about...

My application was received about a month ago. The lady I talked to said it took so long to go as complete because I needed to send in something explaining my reason for having a disruption in school (I was out of a year but caught up and am graduating on time). I explained what happened in my personal statement but I didn't tell her that. She then said never mind because she saw my personal statement explained the disruption. Do you think she was part of the admissions committee or do the people receiving the apps scan them?

Paid first seat deposit this morning. Fairly certain this is where I'll end up.

Anyone have any suggestions on best place to live / closest apartments to the law school?

My application was received about a month ago. The lady I talked to said it took so long to go as complete because I needed to send in something explaining my reason for having a disruption in school (I was out of a year but caught up and am graduating on time). I explained what happened in my personal statement but I didn't tell her that. She then said never mind because she saw my personal statement explained the disruption. Do you think she was part of the admissions committee or do the people receiving the apps scan them?

Similar thing happened to me!! My application was received in mid-January but did not change status for about a month. I emailed the Admission Office and they replied that they were waiting for an explanations of gap in my resume (I am from Italy and moved to Florida 3 years ago. When I transferred from the school overseas it took about a year to get all the paperwork and the Visa worked out). I finally went complete on the end of February and then in pre-evaluation on 3/23.

I am pretty sure that whoever you talked to is part of the Committee, and she might actually be the same lady I talked to.

IDK if anyone else noticed, but Ole Miss just jumped up in rank on USNWR. It broke the 100 (which many said wouldn't happen) and now is a tier 2. They tied with LSU. That's cool.

How do you know if/ how much you got a scholarship for. I don't see anything in my email.

Congrats! I don't know because I haven't heard anything from them. All the other schools have been mailing me scholarship information with acceptance package. None have told me in the acceptance email.

How long were you under review? Or did your status change?

I think it went "In Review" on 4/3 or 4/7

Thanks for the info. This is my first school to be accepted to so I had no idea on scholarship stuff
