Congrats! How did they first notify you (e.g., E-mail, text, phone)? Assuming you got the reconfirmation e-mail that was sent out today, how quickly did you submit your response?

Thank you! I actually hadn't responded to the reconfirmation email yet, but they sent me an email at 9:15 pm (I'm in Michigan) notifying me of my acceptance. I never filled out the need access form, so as soon as I complete that I was going to call and find out scholarship info. Scholarships are going to be the deciding factor for me.

I called UC Davis a couple of days ago. They said that they have been taking people off the waitlist. They did two rounds: 25 and 15. I questioned them about their extended application deadline from June 15 to June 30th. They blatantly told me that it was to increase their number of apps and said that no one who is serious about law school would apply that late. Anyway, I also got the reconfirm.

ugh... Law schools should be compelled to disclose the number of applicants they waitlist, along with the number of applicants they accept off the waitlist.

Did anyone get off the waitlist on 7/7? I need to know so that I can stop hoping. My gut feeling says that some people heard back today and it is likely the last batch of waitlisted people Davis will approach. No solid reasoning to support this just some deducing knowing what time and how soon after receiving a reconfirm email my friend got off the waitlist in June. Pattern recognition seems to be the only way to figure out what admissions is up to!

yup, it sucks. With every passing day the prob of getting in diminishes : ( ..... Still, did ya'll get another reconfirmation over the weekend?
