I think it was a day or two, but I hear they're a bit behind on the app cycle this year.kwabbs wrote: How soon do they send that? The other schools I applied to were next day status checker emails

They won't negotiate ever, one of a few law schools that won't. If you send them another offer and say XXXX school is giving me $XX,XXX they will basically respond "Wow, that's a great choice and am sure that will make your choice very difficult. Of course if we have additional funds at the end of acceptances we will let you know" But they have never given anyone any more.whitespider wrote:Yeah, 2/3 tuition
Edit: No negotiation at all? That sucks. Maybe they'll make an exception because I'm adorable.
That sucks. I got equivalent offers from higher ranked schools and was hoping to use those to negotiate with them. That pretty much takes Denver out of the running for me...zniha wrote:They won't negotiate ever, one of a few law schools that won't. In terms of the 84K you received tuition is like 45ish a year so pretty close to two thirds. The will divide it into 3 years though and of course you have to maintain their stip.
Ditto. I'll still give it the old college try this spring, though. Maybe they'll have to change up their policy this year with apps declining.indypup wrote:That sucks. Congrats! Are you from the area? I think I'll be attending as well, just need to go check the school and area out first. No clue to where to even start looking at to liveConnorDubya wrote:I officially sent in my deposit and will be attending in the Fall. Now I just have to find housing!

Bumped today to 30k a year.

That 3.0 stip is really east to meet. It actually comes out to about the Top 55-60%. I think on average 85% of those with scholarships retain them. Don't know if that helps, but just thought I would throw it out there.joeschmoe wrote:I was also bumped to $30,000/year a month or so ago. I attempted to negotiate my scholarship, but they said that they weren't able to offer me more money at the time. It is a shame, because while tuition wouldn't be bad with the $30,000/year scholarship, I'm not a fan of the 3.0 GPA stipulation (which they also wouldn't remove). Personally, I don't think that paying that much $$$ and having to be in the top 50% is a good decision for me for their employment outcomes. Unless something changes, a $30,000/year scholarship will probably be available soon. Good luck to the rest of you!
