I only applied 10 days ago. I got a call from the Dean tonight at 10pm. I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. I hope it's good news.

I'm sure it is! I think they send letters for rejection. Tentative congratulations to you!

Admitted via a phone call from the dean. Had a very pleasant conversation with her about my background, narrative statement and Richmond in general.

She said I'd likely be receiving a full ride this March and mentioned summer PI stipends. She also said they refund $200 of travel costs to visit, but only if you enroll (not sure if theres a distance minimum).

Definitely appreciated the personal touch, as opposed to a form letter.

Good luck to those still waiting! :D

I really want to like Richmond law, but for some reason I'm just not crazy about the school. Can any of you guys tell me what it is about the school that sold you on it?

It being in VA and the ranking. But this was my safety school and got into other schools higher on my list so I will most likely withdraw my acceptance.

Dean Rahman called with the good news today. She said a financial package is coming. This is a very nice Christmas present, if I do say so. Good luck to everyone!

Has anyone asked the exact date of when scholarship amounts will be released?

I called a couple days ago and they told me mid-March. Not sure why it's so absurdly late when it seems like every other school has either already made offers or plans to do so very soon. When I spoke with the Dean on the phone in the fall she took a negative tone about people trying to negotiate, so maybe they do it later hoping that we won't be able to use their offers to negotiate with other schools?

Did anybody else not receive a scholarship quote over the phone? I was excited and forgot to ask.
