Pretty stoked!

If you don't get money everyone should just rescind their applications.

I had those boxes too, didn't make a difference in my application.

Admitted this morning via email! 3.1/163 went complete 10/06. People who got $, did the offer come in the acceptance email?

From what I've read in the threads from previous years (yes, I have a little too much time on my hands), the scholarship offers come with the hard copy package you get in the mail.

Thanks! Hopefully we both have great cycles, it looks like with the exception of Colorado and GWU (may apply later, but didn't get a fee waiver) I applied to all the schools you did.

FYI-- I didn't get a fee waiver from GWU either, but I wrote to solicit one and they gave me a code right away. May be worth trying if you're interested in applying.

I tried to solicit one earlier this cycle and they rejected me. I am hoping they will send me one through CRS later in the cycle.

Congrats! Super exciting. Just out of curiosity, did you feel like they were generous with the scholarship offer?

Yes, it was more than I expected. Although, about equal with a couple others I have gotten from similarly ranked schools.

Accepted a few weeks ago with a graduate fellowship! Very excited, William and Mary is one of my top schools! They also included a lot of great information in the acceptance package with the scholarship info.

Question for you guys who have been admitted-- did your status checker indicate that your app was "under review" at some point? Mine has been complete all week but no changes since then, other than those four boxes that showed up under requirements at the bottom. Being impatient but I'm just wondering why it hasn't gone into review yet- judging from others on this thread, it looks like they have a pretty quick turnaround.

Don't worry about their status checker. Mine never said "under review" and never changed to "accepted." Those boxes appeared and less than a week later I got the acceptance email.

OK, that's comforting to know-- thanks. Just out of curiosity, how long did it take them to get back to you after you went complete?

I went complete on 9/8 and heard back on 10/15, which was the first date that acceptances went out.

Yeah, I'm curious about the Fellowships as well. I'm wondering how much of it is just a kind of work study shelving books and filing papers, and how much is actually doing research and things like that. I got accepted 10/30 by email and got a packet in the mail the next day with the scholarship info ($20k plus the fellowship worth $13k, guessing I had good recommendations/resume/statements since my numbers are 164/3.8 LSDAS/4.0 Degree). The Dean of Admissions called last night too.

I will not be able to apply until I take the LSAT in December. Does anyone know if acceptance to W&M is effected by late applications?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
