Absolutely. I will just be sitting on my hands waiting to hear on my other applications, so I need to kill time somehow.hereisonehand wrote:Cool; if you don't mind, keep us posted!

You have to be kidding me. With a 3.9 and 173, you're going to be in pretty much everywhere, and get at least one of HYS.NimChimpsky wrote: I assumed there was a better than even shot I wouldn't get into anything. I really just didn't know.

That's awesome! Congrats!NimChimpsky wrote:I applied on 10/7 and received an acceptance call on 10/9. I couldn't believe it. I applied to a good number of schools, and really didn't know what to expect. I assumed there was a better than even shot I wouldn't get into anything. I really just didn't know. So this was an amazing start to this process, and hopefully a sign of good things to come. Even if it's not a portent, I'm beyond thrilled: UCLA is an awesome school.

My call was also from the Dean. He said there would be a letter coming in the mail + an email in the next week or so that would contain more info and some "preliminary scholarship information", whatever that means.hereisonehand wrote:congrats! same q to you: did you get scholly info?lilith66 wrote:Acceptance call a few minutes ago!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhh, hopefully you'll get a call today too! Today is a holiday for my university, so I just assumed most schools were closed and wasn't expecting anything to happen today. Totally took me by surprise.rebexness wrote:We have the same complete date. BRB not getting anything done for a while.lilith66 wrote:Acceptance call a few minutes ago!!![]()

Did my skype interview with UCLA today, I think the main purpose was to ask about my two different LSAT scores (159 --> 173). She asked directly if I took a class, I answered truthfully & said yes - does that mean I'll be rejected?

Probably not, just curious where it came from and why it was there. I'd say with a 173 you're in regardless.hannahp38 wrote:Did my skype interview with UCLA today, I think the main purpose was to ask about my two different LSAT scores (159 --> 173). During my interview she said scholarship stuff doesn't happen until January and they evaluate for merit based aid from your applicationNimChimpsky wrote:Got mine yesterday. Same. How long does it usually take to get receipt/complete email from UCLA after submitting my app in LSAC?
I'm growing anxious though it's only been two days since I clicked on the send button... !!

What are everyone's thoughts on the "Programmatic Contribution" section where they ask "if you believe you can make a distinctive contribution to a specific UCLA School of Law Specialization, Academic Program, Joint Degree, Law Review/Journal, or research in a particular subject area?"
My major is biomedical engineering, so I'm thinking about possibly touching on that, but I wanted to see if anyone else had written it/what they wrote about?
Thanks!
