Thanks! Looking back this makes the LSN graph seem weirdly wrong. I guess it's just hard to visualize this kind of data and there are a bunch of overlapping green dots or something?Dr.Zer0 wrote:c/o '17 profile is up: http://www.law.berkeley.edu/37.htm

What do you mean? You can tell by the LSN graph that Cal prefers high GPAs given that there are very few green dots below the 3.7 line. In terms of LSAT, yeah they admit plenty of people who can help them raise their median LSAT but they don't spend the money to get them to commit. Sure they have the scholarship matching program but its a crap shoot because its not numbers driven.everything_bagel wrote:Thanks! Looking back this makes the LSN graph seem weirdly wrong. The admitted LSATs you can see in the graph seem high--waaaay more green dots at 170 and above than they obviously admit/get given their medians. Maybe very little GPA variance is admitted below 170 so all of the dots overlap?Dr.Zer0 wrote:What do you mean? I want to know the story of the person admitted with a 3.0/150.everything_bagel wrote:The admitted LSATs you can see in the graph seem high--waaaay more green dots at 170 and above than they obviously admit/get given their medians. Just because they're admitted, doesn't mean they eventually attend. Also not all applicants post on LSN. Try zooming in to the graph too I guess????everything_bagel wrote:The admitted LSATs you can see in the graph seem high--waaaay more green dots at 170 and above than they obviously admit/get given their medians. Hey there TLS,
I know this is really early but does anyone know if Berkeley Law accepts the cal vet tuition waiver? Theoretically I won't have to pay tuition when I establish residency.

Same... We'll just have to see I guess. Might send the application in today or this weekend, but not sure if I should hold out for a fee waiver. Do they give them out?ikethegremlin wrote:I submitted yesterday, yeah! Love Berkeley, wish they were a bit more scholarship happy.lilyt93 wrote:Checking in! Berkeley is a top choice for me! "We offer a need-based application fee waiver program which is administered by Law Services. If you obtain an LSAC fee waiver, then your application fee will be waived automatically when you apply to Berkeley. Merit-based waivers are not offered.
Fee waivers also are available to applicants who provide documentation that they are current or recently-separated (within last calendar year) participants in a public service program (i.e., Peace Corps, Teach for America, AmeriCorps), participants in a PPIA program, or active or former members of the military."
