is this specific to this cycle or always, i was waitlisted a few years back with a 3.2/162
I got $24k/year with very similar numbers this last cycle FWIW.
EDIT: Also,
rising 1L here, feel free to ask me any questions regarding the cycle.
Does this mean you'll start this fall? Did you apply FT or PT, also are you URM.

How long should I expect to wait before I hear anything about my application? I sent it in 9/3 and have yet to even get an email from admissions saying they've received my application. This seems alike a bit much..

there have only been 2 working days since you submitted. I wouldn't be too concerned. Let us know when you do hear from them.

You're probably going to need to slow your roll. SMU doesn't sprint, they meander.

It's been about a week and a half since I applied, haven't heard anything back yet. Is this common for smu?

Its common for most schools I'm pretty sure. 10 days is nothin. I think usual time is like 3 weeks or more with very few being diligent and taking like 8-10 days

Got an email this morning saying my app was received. Nice call, exactly 3 weeks since I sent mine in.

Checking in as well. 3 weeks to hear from them as well. Anyone know how reliable their status checker is?

It's certainly being updated, but I don't know how accurately. I went complete yesterday and got an email early this morning informing me of the change.

Last's years SMU C/O thread shows that first wave came november 8th, so we may have some more time. I am still at complete on my status checker

I have been complete since 9/30 with no word - I think we have a little more time to wait based off of past cycles

same here, 9/30. I'm not expecting to hear from anyone else until at least mid or late November- trying not to get my hopes up too much.

Checking in. Applied 9/5, went complete on 9/17. If last year is any indicator, we have a few weeks' wait ahead of us still.

I got emails when they received the application giving status checker login info, and then another email when it went complete.

It took them a while to get the confirmation email out to me. I didn't receive it until 10/1. I didn't get an email saying the my file was complete, but it was listed in the status checker the first time I logged on.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
