Was WLed a while ago but only just found this thread. SLS was my top choice at the beginning of the cycle and I'll probably always love it but I don't think I'll ride it past June. Hopefully there will be lots of movement and it will happen early; it would kill me inside to have to withdraw from SLS, even if it is just a WL.

Kershka, will you be at HLS otherwise (if so yay! we might meet one way or the other)? I submitted my letter of intent there but SLS is also my top choice and I'd probably ride this one until September if need be. It's heart-wrenching because I also have a significant personal reason to be there but at least there's still hope

I will be at Harvard! So glad to see more TLSers planning to go there! Though I'm technically also riding the Yale WL but lol at getting off that. I thought that I would ride this WL to the bitter end but I'm pretty psyched about HLS and I don't want to break leases/ditch roommates/lug furniture to the complete opposite side of the country/etc. I don't think it is fair for me to keep myself on the list past June when there are those of you who would be willing to pick up and move all the way to Palo Alto the day before classes start, no matter how much I love SLS.

Good luck! I really hope Faye calls you and offers a spot, especially since you have personal reasons to want SLS too.

Stanford removed folks who didn't deposit by the deadline from the fb group; it's at 172 now. Which means -- if everyone in the class is on fb -- they'll be using the wait list, at least a little. *

Let's hope Dean Deal makes some calls in the next few days so y'all can join us! <3


*PS if my logic is terrible I plead liberal arts. I don't math and haven't since I took a stat class because I had to.
