Good to have moved from one thread to another! If that's not progress, I don't know what is. #YaleMary

Hi folks! Fingers crossed that those of us who are still hopeful will still get that (203), but, in the meantime, I'm curious as to where y'all are enrolling.

(So maybe we can all still be friends :) ) I'm headed to SLS -- what about all y'all?

Take a class with Prof. Klarman! His mock class on Brown v. Board in the March ASW was fantastic!

Wait this is awesome -- maybe the Faytes decided that we're all too cool for Yale so we're gonna party it up in Palo Alto and New York together. #imokwiththat

Will be riding the WL until August. Since silence from Stanford leads me to think it will be a rejection, I have to put my eggs in Yale's awesome New Haven basket.

Riding till the bitter end, and will probably deposit at CCN.

Does anyone know about this "fast-track" application? It seem suspiciously...TTT :?

also curious about this. I'd prefer to wait until I finish my thesis for the LOCI.

For what it's worth, I'm sending my LOCI on a later date; sent in my w/l response on Friday.

Sent in my LOCI with my waitlist form. I've resolved to not be a "waitlist freak show," so that's the only email I'm sending them. Also, riding it out till Registration Day. No harm in it, I guess. But I'm going full speed ahead with my other plans - not gonna keep myself dangling off a cliff, bulldog leash in hand.

this is probably a dumb question, but if you get in off the waitlist you do not have to attend, correct?

Yale wait list: now with a spreadsheet!

Let me know if there is anything I should change about it. I'm not that great with excel :(.

ETA: the OP is now updated.

Please make sure you put something in in the "name" category, otherwise the spreadsheet won't count you.

hey, the spreadsheet won't work unless you put in actual numbers :(. since Yale doesn't care *that* much about numbers, maybe just approximate?

regardless, that's what I did for you.

I'm torn about whether to submit a LOCI or hustle for another recommendation. I'm a boring old person with a job so I won't have grades and someone would have to die for me to get promoted, so it would just be, "Yup, I really, really want to go to Yale." The best that might happen is that I could win an award to present a paper at a conference...? Would that even justify a LOCI?

thanks scoobs. i just filled it out.

and for the record, i felt very awk/toolish putting above average softs, but i can't imagine how i'd have gotten waitlisted otherwise w/ my numbers

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
