It seems like this time last year Admissions had already begun to send out a waitlist newsletter. Anyone receive anything?

The deposit deadline this year is the 21st, so perhaps next week. I sent a LOCI late March, but didn't get a response of receipt. Did anyone else send one in and get confirmation? Just concerned that perhaps I should send a paper copy.

I'm hoping so. More likely it'll be a week or so while they get things organized and wait for deadline-extenders to get back to them.

Last year at this time there was already movement off the WL, so I'm also hoping we will see some soon.

There was a wait list accept reported on LSN. So it looks like they are looking at people at least a little.

I just got an email releasing me from the waitlist. It mentioned that after the first deposit deadline it was clear they would be making few offers off the waitlist. Good luck to those lucky few!

Surprised there has been no WL update. It seems last year UVA sent out a newsletter to WLers.

They released some ppl from the WL about this time yesterday, but I'm not seeing or hearing anything today. Anyone with an update?
