RUDE. Nobody asked your opinion. Even if you did drop some big truth bomb on everybody (you didn't), what do you expect people to do with this information in MAY? I had a full ride to Akron and withdrew before I even heard about Case. I don't know if it's a tier-three "shithole" because it's decently respected in its market. But the Akron market is small and getting smaller. Case seems to have reach throughout the Midwest, but only at the top of the class. Isn't this true of almost every law school? I doubt any other schools in Ohio have as much national reach as Case, Ohio State included, however limited that national reach may be.

1). Did I step on your tail and that is why you being so loud? It's a strong regional school in the Midwest region. I mean better options to this guy who started the post and I mean it in some aspects including: cost of attending, employment stats after I read everyone's remark.givemescholly wrote:RUDE. 2). This is my remark and I am entitled to it.
3). Next time. Read twice of what you post. If you are about to or currently attending Case Law, I am sorry that I hurt your feeling.
4). I have a construction company in Cleveland and you are welcome to rant about me in person. But please don't call me jerk because some who did that before was done in the sewage tunnel.

I mean in cost of attending and comparable employment stats.
Case Law is a strong school in Midwest and has sorts of strong ties with Jones Day.

You are totally fine. I just accidentally stepped on somebody. It's my fault.thehowlingfantods wrote:I had a full ride to Akron and withdrew before I even heard about Case. Reminder: this thread is for people to discuss their applications to Case Western, not for people removed from that process to come in and tell others what they think of Case Western.

My spouse and I met at CWRU law. We've both worked at Big Law, and my spouse is now general counsel of a large CA corp. CWRU law didn't prevent us from achieving our career goals, within or outside of Ohio.

Ok. So I had some free time at work today...
Use XLSAT+ XGPA + .166 to get your index number, multiply it 100, then use that as x for....
-.1x^2 + 154.7x - 59785 = what they offered you in scholly $. It worked for me and most of the #s on CWRUs page. I used their old published index number and did some regression stuff on this years LSN page. Only caveat is I believe they occasionally gave extra bumps to 160+ apps (because they qualified for specialty awards) and if your number is negative, they gave you a min offer because you were a borderline applicant
Annndd I could be way off... But it seems to work
