Why so little love for Chicago scholarships? Chicago is a fantastic school. Something is wrong here, unless all the voters just prefer NYC.

Good idea for the survey!
I figured it would be interesting to see an aggregate ranking so I assigned points for each ranking (10 points for first choice, 9 points for second choice, 8 points for third choice, etc). Here's the list I came up with:
1. Yale at sticker (2,647 points)
2. Columbia with Hamilton full scholarship (2,461)
3. Harvard at sticker (2,375)
4. Stanford at sticker (2,147)
5. Chicago will full scholarship (1,906)
6. NYU with non-RTK full scholarship (1,725)
7. NYU with RTK full scholarship (1,495)
8. Columbia with Butler half-tuition scholarship (1,354)
9. Chicago with half-tuition scholarship (990)
10. Columbia at sticker (715)

You'd think the solely biglaw aspiration people would choose the Columbia and Chicago full scholarships before anything else, and possibly even the NYU full scholly (though it might not make sense due to the high COL loans).

Its all about safety and back-up options. I put Yale first as a big-law focused person just because its very safe. I did follow it with the Hammy though.Otunga wrote:Cool stuff.

Re: What would you choose between the T3/T6 Schollies?
I wonder if it's possible to see whether these results correlate in any way with the reported yield for the T6. If there was, wouldn't we be able to roughly predict how many Hamilton's are actually handed out?
I have no idea how this would work mathematically, or if it's even possible though.
