I have a question. I just sent in my Villanova application on LSAC's website, but the fee was $0 and said the fee was mailed. Did anyone else run into this? Does this mean my fee was waived?

Where did it say the fee was mailed? Mine also showed $0, but I'm pretty sure I had received a notification of a fee waiver.

It said it under Villanova's application in the cart when I was checking out. My other fee waived applications said fee has been waived through CAS.

Could be possible that they did away with the app fee seeing as applications are so down this cycle.

Hey everyone! Just visited today, really a beautiful building and campus, and the head admissions said the entering class size will be around 150!

Has anyone received scholarship information?

How long after the acceptance packet did you get it? Thanks!

Congrats to everyone who has already been accepted!

Anyone have any movement lately?

This is the final school I'm waiting to hear from, and I'm getting quite antsy :D

Great; thanks! I submitted after you, but if they're still working on the same timeline, I should be hearing soon :)
I already made plans to attend their ASD next month, so I wanted to know if I should expect to have a decision by then lol

They seem to be pretty generous with scholarships!

Awesome, you should hear soon I would think. I wish I could have taken the call as I'm curious about the $$ but from what i see it should be a decent amount depending on how they like splitters. I may be at ASD next month, maybe I'll see you there!

I'm still waiting to hear back- submitted 1/10 and still nothing... Also waiting on Penn State which was submitted the same time. I'm wondering if our weather has delayed things a bit since most campuses ended up closing with all the snow.

I dunno... I submitted more than 2 weeks after you and I heard back last week :?:

Also, I got admitted via email, not a phone call. :|

It seems like most people on LSN heard back within a month or so, I'm trying not to read too deeply into it but it's a bit disheartening. I emailed them to make sure that everything was complete and no further action required on my part. They basically sent a form response saying it was complete and to check the status checker. I got a scholly offer from Drexel who is my last choice and was hoping to have some room to negotiate with the other schools, but I need to commit to Drexel by April. This is cutting it closer than I'd like. Sigh...

I applied 1/22, was accepted 2/28, and got the scholarship email on 3/5. I am visiting on Friday. Where is everyone planning on living? All of the decent 1 BR apartments in the area are $1,100+ not including utilities.

Radnor and the Mainline are expensive in general, no joke. If you're okay with driving, then Manyunk offers a really great atmosphere for cheaper prices.

Not applying this cycle, but probably next cycle. That being said, I plan to commute from the Harrisburg area. Don't think you're stuck living that close to the school :)

If anyone is interested, I'm looking for a room mate (male). I trust fellow TLSers to be no nonsense types of people when it comes to school, and rooming with someone makes expenses so much cheaper!

I plan on visiting Villanova in a couple of weeks. I have never been to Philadelphia so what is a good area to stay? I plan on catching a Phillies game and interested in some bar areas. Any suggestions?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
