I saw that person on LSN too, but he didn't even get into Columbia (a school that cares just as much about grades as Harvard), so there is probably something else that made him unappealing to HCC

LMFAO

Yes. I can't wait to get rejected from Harvard or Stanford either. Also, stupid question (and clearly indicative of the fact that I'll be posting in this thread for valid purposes shortly):

What is JS? When people say "JS1, JS2" -- to what does this refer...

Jessica Soban, the admissions officer. JS1 is the first interview and JS2 is the second.

Any dings yet...? HLS should be coming within the next couple weeks, right?

Submitted late and below medians for my H and S, probs won't even scratch a JS1. App fees felt like really expensive lottery tickets.

Hah I remember seeing that profile too!

I really thought this profile was a troll for a second. Why on earth would anyone mention TLS in an interview

That was a generally disappointing cycle. Maybe the interview had something to do with the HLS rejection, but it seems like there was probably some other weakness that schools were seeing even w/o an interview.

Someone in the Harvard thread mentioned that the first round of dings last cycle went out on January 11th. Based on that, tomorrow seems likely

Checking in in advance for H too. All aboard the not-even-getting-a-JS1 train!

Freaking Harvard. My GPA is not THAT bad.

If it's any solace, a number of people who got accepted off waitlists or following holds in past years didn't get a JS1 until after they were held or waitlisted.
