I'm not really considering considering it yet. lol I need to see what my options are going to be. Really, I just want to get into SMU. If I could choose one school to get into (outside of UT and the T14) it would hands-down be SMU.grungy89 wrote:Nice, enough for you to realistically consider?

Did you apply there yet? A group of us got in there last week, but are still waiting on scholarship info. It's a shame that Baylor isnt YRP, is SMU though? Unrelated, but There is about a $600 difference in BAH between Highland Park and Waco

Is it just me or still people out there waited for over a week to get the letter? Waco is only less than 3 hrs away from San Antonio for gods sake.

I have "decision mailed" and that the decision was made on Nov. 5th.
I live in Florida but it's been a good 9 days, I was confused at first but I'm glad I'm not the only one waiting for it to arrive.

Got my letter today. It had a nice personal note from the Dean in it.
For those wondering, the scholarship stipulation is a 2.75 which the letter says is roughly the top 75%

It might help to mention the reason: Waco pretty much sucks as a city, whereas the Park Cities (consisting of Highland Park and University Park - SMU is in the latter btw) is one of the most affluent neighborhoods in the country. That said, you can absolutely find reasonably priced housing elsewhere in Dallas outside of the Park Cities (but still within easy driving distance).grungy89 wrote:Unrelated, but There is about a $600 difference in BAH between Highland Park and Waco

Got mail today (status checker says it was mailed November 5th).
In at Baylor Law with 30k, valued at 90k over three years with a 2.75 GPA stip.
Very nice message from admissions inside the package.
