Yeah that "update" email. I mean. Update: you applied. Anyone know if Emory issues money decisions with admission? If not, I'll be waiting forever to decide. Not helpful.

Reading through the c/o 2016 thread it appears as though scholarship information is in the admissions letter. At least, that's what I assume since a majority of the posts are "Accepted with $_____ per year!".

According to LSN, last year almost all decisions were made in Feb. That is such a pointless and unnecessary email they just sent lol.

For a moment there it felt like a personal email Oh well. Just to clarify, this is the one from the Dean of Admissions saying your app will be thoroughly reviewed etc, right? Every time an email like that comes in my stomach drops

You guys think this is bad? William and Mary sent at least 5 e-mails to me in-between my application and admittance. Thought it was "the" e-mail every time.

Email they sent said decisions will be sent beginning in mid-February. Oh how my patience is being tested!

Anyone else get an email today about the Woodruff Fellowship? I thought I had already applied, so luckily I was notified that my additional recommendation had not arrived.

Anyone else applying? Seems pretty competitive, but an amazing offer.

BTW Emory was my first choice when I applied in 2010. I visited campus and really loved the vibe. Also it's not too far from my home state and Atlanta is pretty cool. Yay Emory!

Yes I got that email as well. Not sure what their criteria are for sending it out or how many people received it.

I mean, on the one hand, it's nice to know they're still out there... the static on the airwaves does seem to get a tad haunting. But on the other hand, that doesn't really constitute an "update" per se... except perhaps to confirm that we won't hear anything until mid-February, which.. Idk. Does that seem kinda intense to anyone else? I get that it's a slower cycle, but WOW..

Went to Emory undergrad....expected better from my alma mater haha UGH...heart skipped a beat with that email, although they were adamant about their mid-Feb date, but still.

A woman in admissions also told me that they absolutely would not give out fee waivers unless you were granted an LSAC one, so... Hopefully your contact was better informed than mine.

I emailed for a fee waiver and received one. Always worth a shot!
