I have a new mailing date under mailings but with no description... Hope this is good news. I did not receive an email from them on my date change date so I assume whatever they sent was snail mail.

I have a date as well, but that email was in regards to "Tuition Freeze" (what a tease). Maybe yours is different though

If that is what the mailing date is about (which more than likely it is), that's just ridiculous.

Hmm I had not noticed that I have a new mailing date as well 12/13/2013. Going to look at last year's thread to see if people got stuff in the mail.

Didn't you get the "tuition freeze" email that day? I'm pretty sure that's all the 12/13 mailing is.

I saw on my status page that a decision has been made (at the top) but no email or post mail yet.

I called and they said I will receive something via postal mail and not email. Not sure if there is difference

After reading some of the last two years of forum posts for GMU, it would appear that you are rejected via e-mail, accepted via phone call, and wait-listed (or moved into non-early decision batch) via snail mail.

Anyone else apply for only the night part-time program?

I spoke with an admissions counselor and she told me that the early decisions are being sent out now and that the regular decisions probably will be sent out after the holidays. They held the first admissions board on December 11th. Has anyone else applied to GWU?

Good luck everybody! I just finished my first semester here, and remembered how often I was checking TLS a year ago. I also remember GMU not having a large presence so I'll try and help out if anybody has questions.

Keep in mind that I just started, so my opinion on job placement/outlook is extremely limited. That being said, just like everywhere else similarly ranked... it's not great. Also I don't know anything about scholarship information, other than some people have them and that some of those people have a top 50% stipulation. Questions about the experience itself though- fire away.

How are the facilities and the faculty? I did my undergrad in a split campus school and I really did not like that aspect of the school. It seemed all the events and activities I wanted to go to where at the main campus and the campus I attended felt almost like a separate school. GMU Law campus doesn't even have a shower which I dislike because I would not be able to go for a run or work out between classes to clear my head. Thank you for any feedback.

I applied early decision and was told that I was being sent something via snail mail. GMU is the only school I am applying to because of its close proximity to my office so hopefully it works out!
