No. My date changed to 11/15 and that's what my letter was dated. Are you at medians? I wouldn't be worrying yet.

I'm a reverse splitter...below 25% for LSAT and very much above 75% for GPA from a respected state institution. TN resident, good softs, good LORS. I just want this purgatory-like state of waiting to be over!

Thanks! In the mean time, I'm trying to stay sane. UT is my #1 choice.

Got a call today and they said a scholarship letter was going in the mail today. It's $25K for all three years. I'm OOS so this brings tuition/fee costs to around $38K for me. Anyone else hear anything?

I'm surprised you weren't offered more being above both 75ths.

Did your dates ever change while you were under review in the status checker?

I think it's $25K per year, so $75K total. I'd be really surprised if it was $25K total, judging by my other offers. Or did you mean to say that you're surprised I wasn't offered more than $75K?

Thanks! And I honestly don't remember about the status checker. I was admitted early on (UTK was my first acceptance) and it was a pretty quick turnaround, so I didn't check it often before I got accepted. But good luck, it's still early!

I thought you meant 25k total. That seems right. I got the phone call today, but I didn't ask for an amount lol. For some weird reason I thought it would be weird to ask haha.

Haha, I didn't ask either. She didn't say it right off the bat, but I asked some stupid question about the deadline to accept the offer and she slipped it in there.

I received a call today and they said the same. I didn't ask the amount either. I am above both 75ths, so I hope it is a good one. Congratulations to the others who have been accepted and those who got calls today.

Just saw that my date on the status checker changed from 10/17 to 12/5, nothing else changed on the status, no note of any mailing & status still shows review. Has anyone else seen this happen?

I remember reading that the status checker changes dates as you move through the review process. You may receive a decision soon! I applied about two weeks after you, so maybe my decision will come soon as well.

Yeah. Now that you mention it I recall reading that as well. I'm just getting anxious playing the waiting game.

Same here. I submitted my application October 29th.

Is anyone in this thread for sure going to UTK? After receiving the scholarship in the mail, I'm for sure attending.

Congrats! I'm jealous of the fact that you have a clear #1 and can make that decision.

I also got my letter today; OOS, with $25k per year.

If I get in, I'm definitely attending irregardless of scholarship $ (I'm a vet so post 9/11 GI bill will cover just about everything). Admittedly UTK is a big reach for me considering my stats, but we shall see.

Congrats! I'm undergrad here now, so the scholarship made it an easy choice. Do you have a top 3?

I think my top choices are Vandy, UGA, W&M, and SMU. No offense to UTK, but with a cheaper option at FSU and almost the same offer at UGA, it wouldn't make much sense to go with UTK given my ties and preferences.

Once I hear back from my other schools of interest and hash it out with my wife, I'll start withdrawing my applications from other schools. Assuming UTK is one of them, I hope one of you gets my $$!

Those are good choices. You can use your money as leverage to some of those, as well. Good luck choosing!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
