Do you guys know where most Davis grads place? Definitely interested in attending if given admission, but definitely don't want to live in a rural sleepy town for the rest of my life!

Sacramento, for the most part if I remember correctly, though also in the bay and to a lesser extent in socal.

Ah okay, not bad, thanks for the info. Very excited to hear back from Davis! I live in the midwest and it is ungodly cold here...would love the change of scenery.

I applied in October...rut ro. I better call them then.
Mine did the same thing before. It's part of the process. They're probably working through a group of applicants and you'll be next. Give them time.

Also, if anyone has questions about UC Davis as a whole or the city of Davis, feel free to pm or ask me. I went to undergrad there, was very involved, and know a lot about UC Davis. Go Aggies!

^ also, I'll just add another anecdote to make you feel better: I applied in early, early october, and literally just got moved to Evaluation in progress (or whatever their wording is) yesterday.

What's YP?

Mine says Current Status: Evaluation in Progress.

Is that what yours showed earlier?
YP = Yield Protection. Schools use it to improve their offer/matriculation stats. Some candidates may be much higher than their average admit and they think they'll be unlikely to go there even if admitted, just hurting their rankings. Thus, rejection or WL.
