I too know someone that goes here for undergrad and seems to enjoy it. I think I'd enjoy three years in DC, so maybe I'll see if I can get a full ride!

I'd avoid this school like the plague. Their employment % is under 40%, and theyre stingy with money. If you're taking out loans to attend here you're almost guaranteed to be 200k in debt with very weak job prospects. With the amount of information about this school out there (Campos, Lawyers Guns & Money) there is really no reason that anyone should be applying here.

For those who were accepted today, were you ED or RD? How early did you apply? How did they notify you?
Bit nervous about YP.
Notified by email.

Re: American University- WCL c/o 2017 Applicants
So... for those of you accepted (myself included) and others applying, what got you to apply to AUWCL?
I applied because of the location... DC is one of the more opportune areas in the U.S. right now for obvious reasons, whether you eventually pursue law or not. I'm also interested in international law... that will most likely be my area of focus as AUWCL has a strong intl. law department.
People seem to bring up the "in the shadows of g-town" factoid. Is that a concern for y'all? Any current or former students at AUWCL around here who can maybe offer some insight?

Application complete since 11/15...a little concerning considering that others have decisions that applied at the same time.
