This seems worth emailing admissions about.eyfl wrote:I doubt.kuddlykoala wrote:thanks. does anyone know if the re-interview ppl who had already had a js1?
Another (potentially silly) question though: If someone is accepted off the WL at the very last second (let's say end of August), is that person required to attend the classes whenever they start or that person can start somewhat later (considering some might need a bit of time to relocate)?
I'm basically concerned about the scenario where I'm very lucky to get the invitation but it comes at the end of August and I need like 2-3 weeks to at least get a visa so I won't be able to start on Sep 1st.

Super excited because I never thought I would be a part of this group. I know it may just be a long, drawn-out rejection, but I'm still excited nonetheless.

My feelings exactly. Some friends have actually said 'good job' - and I guess it is. One can only hopekfischm1 wrote:Super excited because I never thought I would be a part of this group. I know it may just be a long, drawn-out rejection, but I'm still excited nonetheless.

To give a better idea of who got off the waitlist last cycle, I've added the LSN info to the OP sorted by LSAT score.

Re: Harvard Waitlist 2013
Thanks OP. pretty interesting - those are mostly high LSATs but looking at this years WL spreadsheet there are very few high LSATs so far. In conjunction with last weeks wave of high GPA JS2s, I wonder if this means H is going to focus on GPa?helix23 wrote:To give a better idea of who got off the waitlist last cycle, I've added the LSN info to the OP sorted by LSAT score.
Or more likely, the WL will grow larger and well see more high LSATs on it

Based on the spreadsheet, if lots of us waitlisters get in to Harvard, UVA and Columbia are going to be opening up a lot of spots in their classes.

Our held and WL'd spreadsheets are going to be way more useful than those from previous years.

Checking in. Is there a deadline by which we have to accept the offer?

This spreadsheet has got to count as good work experience if you want to send in a LOCI, Helix.helix23 wrote:+1. yeah our predecessors were a joke.digifly wrote:Our held and WL'd spreadsheets are going to be way more useful than those from previous years.

Haha I think that definitely counts for leadership experience worthy of a LOCIhelix23 wrote:txdude actually made the spreadsheet, but making these threads gave me a lot of leadership experience I can swing into an LOCIbroadstreet11 wrote:This spreadsheet has got to count as good work experience if you want to send in a LOCI, Helix.helix23 wrote:+1. yeah our predecessors were a joke.digifly wrote:Our held and WL'd spreadsheets are going to be way more useful than those from previous years.

Thanks for taking the lead, Helix!
WL last year had a bit of movement after the deposit deadlines at Yale and Stanford, so hopefully we hear something in early May. TBH, not expecting much... hopefully I'm proved wrong!

Helix, I hope you have some childhood dreams left to fulfill after this cycle.
Thanks for collecting and posting the information. Anyone know why the ratio of acceptances last year was so high?

I wouldn't put too much weight into the LSN ratio. A bunch of people withdrew before there was any decision (many probably would have been dings). A lot of WLs on LSN never updated the result.
