Re: Splitter Results for 2012-2013 App Cycle
Only slightly, although I did have stellar grades my freshman year FWIW (even if just to show that I'm capable) and went to a top tier school. Submitted a lengthy addendum explaining my circumstances and tried to focus on how I've excelled since graduating.BitterSplitter wrote:do you have any positive trend towards the end?andy261 wrote:http://lawschoolnumbers.com/d1verge
I would gladly take the other 'splitter' GPAs in this thread.

University of Richmond: Admitted+ Scholarship
William and Mary: Admitted +$28,000
Washington and Lee: Admitted
George Washington: Admitted
Notre Dame: Admitted+ $22,000
Temple: Admitted
Georgetown: Admitted (Pretty stoked about this one)
BU: Complete, last update 1/14/13
UVA: Complete
U Penn: Complete, 12/14/12
WUSTL: Complete, last update 1/16/13
University of Washington: In Review, 12/17/12
University of Michigan: last update 1/17/13
Northwestern: Complete, 1/10/13
Cornell: Complete, 1/11/13

I realize I applied to far too many schools, but I had no idea where I would fall in this year's cycle, and I got fee waivers, so I decided to just bite the bullet and see what happens.

Yeah I saw that. I understand it provides a boost, though I'm hoping it's not so tremendous as to completely disqualify someone with my numbers.gspiel1232 wrote:hobie2515 wrote:3.26/167

I'll post other results when they come in. Glad to see someone with similar stats get into UT (my top school).

Re: Splitter Results for 2012-2013 App Cycle
169 will probably be the most unpredictable LSAT score this cycle, given the decline in applications forcing some schools to drop their median from 170 to 169 (hopefully!). Plus, you only need one reach to bite to make all the apps worth it!bzzingbee wrote:169/3.16

If only there was a way to get a whole of a bunch of applicants with a certain set of characteristics...

Well LSAC correlates lsat scores and gpas with first year grades at law schools and find lsats correlate better, probably do to the consistency between tests compared to GPAs. I think it makes some sense, and it's not line your ugpa doesn't count, it's still w big deal.cbarlow1016 wrote:I just don't understand how one test counts more than working your

Honestly, GPA is too low for T14, and I really want to stay in Florida. Graduating UF in May. Got $30,000/yr with top 50% stip at Stetson, is very tempting.BitterSplitter wrote:you shouldn't waste that lsat score you could be applying to the bottom t-14s this cycle with that lsat scorepenelope1 wrote:3.05 169

Hold out for UF. Top 50%, likely with section stacking, is unconscionable.penelope1 wrote:Honestly, GPA is too low for T14, and I really want to stay in Florida. Graduating UF in May. You wouldn't agree that a 3.8 in Neuroscience is vastly different from a 3.8 in cinema studies? Even if both are from **Berkeley**
