Thought I would make and post one of these since they are in all the other major schools and I find them pretty helpful. Thanks to Shadowofjazz and LSATSCORES2012 for compiling the data. This is a graph illustrating the decision decision dates from last year's cycle at WUSTL everything else should be self explanatory. Looks like we should be expecting acceptances to those who are auto admits this/next week.

What kind of scores do you think'll suffice an auto-admit?

According to previous years' TLS threads, applicants' status change from "Application Complete" to "In Review" before decisions are rendered. Any reason to believe this isn't the case this year? I've been at "Complete" for a couple weeks now.

Only a couple of weeks? Don't hold your breadth. It's different for everyone and every school, but you can be complete for months, and in review for months. Don't pay too much attention to the status checkers between "Complete" and a decision. It's just painful. (And if you have a 168 or above, unless you really fucked up elsewhere on your application, you are a lock for WUSTL so don't sweat it - at that point the only question is scholarship money and you won't know that until probably feb)

I don't think that happened last year. At least my status never changed from complete, even after I was accepted.

I don't think that happened last year. At least my status never changed from complete, even after I was accepted.

This advice is very early, but I strongly suggest staying on the waitlist until June. I'm pretty sure more people came off the waitlist than that graph indicates. Many received good scholarships.

Yeah I am sure thats the case. I doubt those who were accepted after June bothered to update their LSN profile (which is where this data comes from).

I believe that last year, the first TLS-reported WUSTL e-mail was sent around 2:30PM Pacific Time on Dec. 1. So I'm giving Meggy's source the benefit of the doubt for another hour or so before I give in for the week

I had been complete since September but my complete date updated to today. So something is happening over there.

No update for me since 11/14, but then again, sounds like I submitted much later than you early birds. Seems like something's rumbling, though, so cross your fingers, all!

Maybe. Though in previous years it seemed that 168+ was basically an auto-admit. I think they're having problems with yield, and thus want to select students who are excited to attend the school.
