Nope! My husband is in the military and we are stationed here, but we have not yet changed our residency.

I had the same "Decision Rendered" status mentioned earlier. Received my acceptance email yesterday.

Thanks! I'm pretty excited about this one. However, I'm a huge Illinois basketball fan and still haven't forgotten the 2005 NCAA final... I'm sure I can get over it though since UNC is a good school.

Have any of you other accepted students recieved scholarship, or did you get the same "you will find out next March, if you get one at all" note that I did?

I haven't received anything in the mail yet, but my email said I would find out in March.

I was looking at UNC's website and they have a LOT of scholarships. I did a rough count at 75 or something, and I know a good bit of them are for 2Ls and 3Ls but it makes me hopeful for y'all! We need a 1L or 2L to take questions

I too got the email on 12/20 (was skeptical since it showed up at 9pm, but confirmed it). That *was* fast, considering I applied on the 6th. Guess they liked the military veteran angle.

Looking forward to returning to Chapel Hill (08 Grad) after working some years in the energy industry.
