No, no, no...I was just saying that if a solid T25 like BC has a 164 median, that is unbelievable how far things have come down from when I applied. I was flat out rejected from BC with a 3.68/168. Though it may be because they secretly resent me for transferring out in UG.

wow, their medians have never been above 166 so i think your rejection was a fluke of some sort... youre pretty signficantly above their highest medians..

I have no doubt it was a fluke, but I remembered the median being 167 so I rationalized it in that way. No offense to BC obviously, I was just scrolling through the thread and saw that 164 comment and was super surprised. Not sure I would have come if I were admitted, but I was highly considering it.

no offense taken. medians have indeed dropped and its good for everyone applying now.. i applied 3 yrs ago at some of the highest medians ever. rough!

I got the same response this morning right after I asked that question. It was really anticlimactic.

I just called admissions because I was freaking out too. The lady on the phone said that it was a mistake and they hadn't noticed it. They should be fixing it shortly. I think it is supposed to say that they will accept an additional 2 documents, but that only 2 LORs are required. I feel sooo much better now.

At least they promise a response within 8 - 12 weeks of going complete. Other schools stretch that shit out to high heaven.

Completely depends on what your numbers are. If you are at or above median, you should be fine. If you are over both medians, you could see some good schollys.

163/3.4 won't get you in (assuming non-URM), but a 164/3.4 has a decent shot and a 165/3.4 is pretty likely.

I have noticed (see Law School Transparency) that BC has very impressive employment statistics given its rank. Perhaps this should not be a big surprise given its proximity to a major market, but for all of us near-50th percentile applicants who will probably pay close to sticker price, this fact could functions as an advantage BC has over comparably ranked schools. I agree and this is one strong reason why it's my #1 or #2 choice. I wouldn't say their employment stats are "very impressive" but I guess comparatively, they are better. Still makes me nervous though!

I actually thought I was pretty solid but someone on TLS chanced me at 50/50, maybe b/c I have a 3.49? not sure...

yeah i think you're solid. not a guarantee or anything like that but definitely good chance, better than 50/50 imo. good luck!
