So for people who have gotten into UCLA, how seriously are you considering attending? For me, scholarship information will be important. Otherwise, I'm excited to hopefully visit and get a better feel for it. Would not like having to get a car though...do most students live on campus to avoid that?

I was offered admission last week via phone call from the Dean. I submitted pretty much right when the application opened up, but was still very surprised at the quick turn around! I suppose my application was just in the first batch to be reviewed.

Welp, UCLA might be the last app I submit. I've whittled my personal statement down now I have to do it even more to accomodate UCLA's 12 point font requirement.

Make sure you use Garamond. It takes up less space than TNR and still looks professional.

Might sound bad, but I just said YOLO and turned in my two page, 11pt font PS. I got in a day after, so I assume you'd be in a similar position.

Just called the UCLA office of admissions. I asked if it's acceptable for our personal statement to run a bit over the two page limit. The lady said that's perfectly fine.
