Are you talking about the dean certification?

Also, this. An acceptance to Stanford would really shake shit up for me. I've already written them off in my head.

Hey everyone - I sent in my Dean's Cert a few weeks ago. Anyone know if there's an easy way that we can check to see if they got it? I know we put our LSAC # on it, but I don't know if LSAC actually tells us anywhere.

I e-mailed and they confirmed receipt.

Same here. It's my understanding that this is essentially means that our file is complete, right? And that it will probably stick to this status until we get a decision?

Great thanks! I appreciate the info. All of you guys getting your status checker makes me want to hurry up and submit. I'm sooo nervous about SLS. Sigh, long shot.

What are my chances at YHS? I have a 3.98, 171. I go to a top 25 university, have had 2 on campus jobs, one law firm internship, and am on a dance team.

Not really the place for this, but I'm procrastinating so here:

H is probably your best shot, since your softs don't sound amazing. Maybe S loves that GPA though. Out at Y in my opinion. In any case, good luck!

Funny, I did 3.96-4 instead of 3.96-4.33 and the chances actually looked better for HS (though just slightly)

Atch! "Decision letter send" appeared on my status checker :/ that was quick! I guess I didn't get in

because they usually directly call you when you're in... oh well! I knew my chances were slim (3.92 168 good softs good work experience) especially because of my LSAT but I thought they would onto me a little bit or WL me!

How could you possibly receive a decision this early in the cycle? Apps have only been open for S for 2 weeks

Even looking at LSN from last year's cycle, I don't see anyone getting any type of decision before mid-December

Maybe their system is just spazzing out? I can't log-in to my status checker (it says that my User ID is invalid) ...

Harvard sends out a few denials in September, so Stanford could be picking up that model, but a 3.92/168 with good softs doesn't sound like an autoding at Stanford...
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
