Anyone on here heard anything new about the waitlist? Any news in general that could shed some light on when they may be looking at waitlists, if they do at all?

hey all, spoke with admissions today, they said that they are currently looking over the waitlist and LOCI's are welcome (better sooner than later).

I just spoke to them today as well and posted about it in the other UCI thread haha. They told me that yes, they are in fact looking over the waitlist.

I just got a wrong number call from a 949 area code. What a cruel, cruel world.

So no news on the waitlist front from anyone? Are most people on this thread still waiting out the waitlist?

I just was rejected off waitlist the other day. Letter came in the mail & said they reviewed waitlist and will not be able to offer me a spot. Good luck to everyone else!

No news. I decided to send a LOCI last week, and they responded by confirming that it had been added to my file.

I e-mailed the contact address listed on my waitlist letter.

They currently have a full class, so they have reduced the size of the waitlist.

Did you send a LOCI? Maybe it was a mass e-mail sent to everyone who expressed interest over the last few months. You would probably hear something if you were taken off the waitlist.

Just got a letter dated May 2nd stating that I was removed from the waitlist. Good luck to everyone else still waiting!

I also sent my LOCI in last week, and I haven't heard anything yet...

Should waitlisters be expecting an email/letter from UCI this month? On the waitlist letter, they only said that they'll be reviewing the waitlist during May, but they didn't specify when we should be expecting a response from them. I turned in my LOCI directly to the front office three weeks ago and haven't heard from them.

It sure has! I got the email his week indicating that I will remain on the waitlist, super relieved, but I really hope spots open up! Has anyone heard anything about actual waitlist movement?
