In with a scholarship...3.4/161 from Wisconsin. Still hearing back from schools but Marquette is definitely a contender for me.

Did you get accepted before and then just now receive your scholarship info? Also, how did they notify you, mail or email? Thanks, and congrats on your acceptance and scholarship!

Yeah, I got accepted before and they just let me know about the scholarship.

Got scholarship info in the mail only, not via email.

I don't feel comfortable saying exactly how much, but it was certainly more than I had expected. Also guaranteed each year regardless of GPA.

I didn't have any contact with them via phone. Both acceptance and scholly came through the mail.

I am waitlisted for Madison but I have been accepted to Marquette... I can't decide if I don't get into Madison whether I should just wait and try to get into Madison next year or if I should go to Marquette.

I am in a similar spot,but haven't heard from UW yet. I would say the big question to ask yourself is what you would do to improve your app for next cycle. If you think you could score higher on the LSAT by really prepping and retaking you could increase your chances. Otherwise Im not really sure how you make yourself a more attractive candidate to them. As long as they have taken to review people this cycle it doesn't seem like just applying early is necessarily going to turn a WL into an accept next cycle. Heard from a friend who just finished 2L at UW after transferring from MU that his friends at MU saw very respectable opportunities for SAs and that MU competes very well against UW for placement in MKE if that is a consideration for you.

Yeah I am starting to think I might just settle for Marquette and hope I get accepted to Madison and just live with it if I don't.
