Anyone else had movement?

Mine says the same thing now as well. Does anyone know how long it took to receive a decision after it changed to "Admissions Committee Review Pending"?

I don't remember mine ever going to that. It may have though, I didn't check it that often. I remember it going from initial review and the next thing I noticed was accepted with scholarship consideration. Sorry that I am not much help...

A week for the decision to be made, but I wasn't informed for a month. Although I was one of the first acceptances so the wait is longer in the beginning.

I applied last week and have somewhat similar numbers. 3.6/152. Some solid softs like having gone to Jesuit high school and a Jesuit college, military service, etc. For the already admitted or those with some familiarity, anyone know what I should expect?

Also, I applied for the civil law program, with the expectation that I'd want to work in Louisiana. What's the breakdown at Loyola between civil and common law students? Anyone know if it's relatively common (no pun intended) for civil law students to take the bar in common law states?

I got an email on 1/6/12 saying my application was complete. But I never got the status checker email. Should I email them or should I expect it soon?

Congrats! If you don't mind, when did you send in your application? Judging from LSN, it looks like they usually take about four weeks.

Thanks! I sent mine in at the beginning of Dec, so yeah about 4 weeks!

No.... still haven't heard back from LSU. I was honestly shocked to see the acceptance today. I figured admissions would be closed for MLK day.

Civil Law or Common Law?

Did anyone else get that email about the accepted students FB group? I'm kinda freaking out and trying to decide whether or not to call the admissions office and ask if that email went out to all applicants or just accepted students.

I got the email as well. Haven't joined the group though. In all likelihood, I won't be going to Loyola unless they give me a pretty large scholarship. We shall see what happens though.

I got it too, but I was accepted already. I joined to see what others were saying and in case I had questions. Seems harmless after all. Unless I get a good scholarship (about half at least) I won't be able to go anyways.
If you haven't gotten accepted, just call and ask them if it was for everyone...

I just read the email and was totally thrown off but it says to get in touch with admitted students, current students, and faculty sooo maybe it is just for general information? or maybe it is a cryptic message that i've been accepted?!?! i prefer the later but i vote you should call and report back as I will not be able to call before they close today unfortunately.
