I'm complete today, too! Does anyone know when they usually start making decisions?

Re: Wake Forest 2012
Hey all,
I received the email this morning with a link to my status checker. Even though everything is checked off under the requirement list my current status is still incomplete. It says "Your application is missing components and cannot be moved to review. Please check the required documents list for more information." Is this common?

I'm not sure, but I've been under review since 10/18 so I'm thinking sometime in November/early December will be the first wave?neeko wrote:I'm complete today, too! Does anyone know when they usually start making decisions?

I wonder if I missed the first wave by submitting last week and just going complete today.

Some people last year weren't complete until a week before acceptance, with many sending in their apps in November. You should be fine.neeko wrote:I wonder if I missed the first wave by submitting last week and just going complete today.

Mine says that as well. I hope they bring us in before they make any decisions.stillwater wrote:I went complete 10/3 and still says "Application complete, ready for review."

Probably the URM go that for you... I'm sure they evaluate the diversity of incoming applications and adjust accordingly.beauTfully_free wrote:I received a fee waiver from them last week and sent it in yesterday.... my LSAT wasn't even that high I was surprised to get the voluntary waiver from them...appreciative though? anyone else in the same boat? I was going to apply, I have a good friend that lives in Winston Salem and loves it. But I am definitely not that well informed when it comes to my driving record so I guess I'm not applying.

Mine had been complete for almost that long and just changed to in review. But from what I have read it will probably stay that way a while...patrickj11288 wrote:Application complete since oct 31...............

This was the first app I sent in. Also sort of my sloppiest. Hopefully not a waste of $16.

How about why are traffic tickets necessary on the application? I seriously can't remember how many speeding tickets I've had since I've been driving. Most of them prior to me being 16.ArtVandeley wrote:1L here. if yall have questions, feel free to shoot me a PM.

Because they'll ask on your bar application. Believe it or not, the bar actually gets copies of your law school application and compares to make sure they match. Something about making sure all lawyers are honest (LOLOLOL).JoeMo wrote:How about why are traffic tickets necessary on the application? No, I know. I haven't lied on my law school apps but none of the other apps ask about traffic tickets so I'm just wondering why Wake does require the traffic tickets to be disclosed.SteelyDan wrote:Because they'll ask on your bar application. Re: Wake Forest 2012
Really? I had to disclose them to several schools. One of them actually made me go to the courthouse and get something certifying the disposition of the ticket. Total pain in the ass.JoeMo wrote: No, I know. But if traffic tickets are the worst you've got, you should be fine. At least you didn't get expelled from undergrad.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
