oof. They told me that if I took the LSAT in Feb my information won't appear on their CRS roster.

I'm not sure. Actually looking back on the email, they didn't even answer my fee waiver request. They just focused on my question about appearing on their CRS roster. This gives me the impression that they do not give out solicited fee waviers, but I'm not entirely sure.
You could try sending them a fee waiver request to see what they say. I'd love to hear the result.

I haven't gotten a fee waiver. This could be because I took the LSAT in February, but I'm still sad.

I solicited a fee waiver from Cornell as a Feb. test taker. They told me if I'm registered for CRS, I will receive one in the mail if I am selected to receive one. I understand that to mean Feb 2011ers are included in their CRS searches.

Maybe there will be a later wave of fee waivers for us February LSAT takers?

Cornell will be by reach this cycle since I'm a splitter. Hopefully I can snag a fee waiver regardless. Do they give them to people who are below one median?

I sure hope so! I know my numbers would qualify me so I don't want to spend the extra money.LaCumparsita wrote:Maybe there will be a later wave of fee waivers for us February LSAT takers?

Love that the "Why Cornell" essay is just a subsection of the FlexApp, and capped at 1000 characters. That's what, 7 tweets worth of why I want to go to Cornell?

Re: Cornell c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
I know! But...why do they allow us to submit a "Why Cornell?" optional essay when it is a required part of the app? Should I expand on what I wrote or would that just be redundant?PSUdevon wrote:Love that the "Why Cornell" essay is just a subsection of the FlexApp, and capped at 1000 characters. I've read that for schools with binding ED, applying ED leaves you at a disadvantage in terms of scholarship money.
Does this apply to Cornell's EA?

There is no plausible reason not to do Cornell's EA.

I got that impression from the website... seems pretty great. Does it matter if you are EDing elsewhere?:UnamSanctam wrote:There is no plausible reason not to do Cornell's EA.
Edit: Looked up the ED/EA FAQ and that doesn't appear to matter.
