I received an email from them today at 6:15 PM Eastern time. I've been accepted to their school with my crap numbers. Hope y'all get your acceptances too.

No I did not have a juicy resume. My numbers: High 140s, 3.25-3.40 range. I like to think my personal statement was kickass, because I came from a poor background.

I also applied very end of September. So yeah.

If there was a scholarship involved, I would have consider it further since STCL has a good reputation for a T4 school. However, I do not think I am going to move from NY to Texas without fiscal assistance from the school so I am probably going to be withdrawing within the next few days.

I don't mind. I know they ain't great.
Last year I did talk to an advisor who told me the committee liked my letters, personal statement and resume, so just bring up my LSAT a couple points. I did that (exactly a couple points) and here I am. Bah! This is my last chance. Sigh

Oh, I got my email at 11:55 a.m. and applied Aug 1. About to send my LOCI. I sent one last year and was rejected before they could have even received my letter - 2 days I think. Sooo, I'm hoping the "wait" on the waitlist is a little longer this time.

Well your numbers are still better than mine, and im sure my resume is not up to par. The fact that i'm not White (but not a URM) might have helped me. I'm having serious discussions with the close people around me so I will withdraw as fast as I can if I come to that decision.

my numbers aren't super hot either, sitting at 153//3.11. BUT i consider myself to have a very strong resume and lor's. I'm not white, I don't know whether that'll help or hurt- I try not to think on it. I wish they could judge me by my sex skills, i Kill with my sex skills

I have a strong resume and excellent lor's and personal statement. But I am white...and I'll probably piss some people off with this, but I do believe it's a factor, a strong one.
And I would totally get in if it were based on sex skills as well! lol

Doesn't piss me off. I'm East Asian, not sure being East Asian greatly helps a candidate such as myself though. I've heard Asians and Whites are the least considered (while Native Americans, Blacks, Hispanics are sought after).

But seriously, my personal statement is absolute badass. I think my PS won them over.

I don't know what the U N means, but he did receive $6,000 in scholarship. My question marks were for shock value...b/c of the LSAT score & GPA. Meanwhile, I was waitlisted...

I am suprised you didint get in. I spoke to STCL and the reason they extended the deadline was because they were low on apps. I thought this would make it alot easier to get in the spring semester. I also applied and have yet to hear anything.

My crap numbers are 150 with 2.99gpa.
