Admissions decisions by a wide margin. I just went surfing every day while I waited for my LSAT score, but now I'm stuck in a city with awful weather; it's my last semester at school; and classes/city aren't enough to keep me occupied. This wouldn't be so bad if I weren't a splitter.

And, for what it's worth, I had *no idea* how I did on the LSAT while I waited for it. I had been sick the weeks leading up to it, and I got shit sleep the night before and ate only cookies and a double cheeseburger the day of. I knew I nailed the essay, but that was about it.

LSAT is much worse. At least when you're applying, you can reasonably approximate the types of offers you're likely to receive. A one or two point difference on the LSAT, though, can drastically change your options.

I was blissfully unaware of this when I took the exam.

On a related note: Diarrhea on LSAT morning is the absolute worst.... the anxiety, the race against time, the variables, the pressure, the uncertainty.... i'm sweating just thinking about it again.

Luckily, the volcanic reactions deep in my loins subsided 10 minutes before test time as I was sitting in that stall that fateful Saturday morn, but the entire time I was worried about the grandest digestive fail in all of testing history.

Def LSAT wait. Atleast with admissions decisions you have some sort of rough expectations for the outcomes. The wait for my 2nd retake in December was brutal because literally every questions moved me in/out of schools I applied to. I'm 100% positive I got into my #1 because I got a 167 and if I would have had a 166 I prob wouldn't have gotten in. Same with my 120k to IUb, 167 was the cutoff. Thats 1 question = 120k.

Atleast you can see your app going down the pipeline and stuff.

That's good, you lucked out. Imagine if the stall had been without any TP. The big D + LSAT in ten minutes + no TP = perfectly ok for a grown man to weep uncontrollably.

Decisions. I knew when the scores were coming, but the decisions...

I am inexorably bound to my status checker. It calls to me in my dreams, it draws me away from other activities, making me late on many occasions. Each hint of activity on these forums seems a shot heard round the world. I believe I am becoming one with it...

I check it a lot is what I'm trying to say.

Decisions, especially from the schools without a status checker. With the LSAT, I figured I'd probably score around my PT average. With admissions, I honestly don't know which way it's going to go since I applied to several "consider" schools where I have about a 50/50 chance of getting in.

I suppose if I wanted to move, which I don't, it might be the score because I'd figure that some school would accept me. When I have only applied to three schools and had to apply so late in the cycle (Jan 20) because of a family crisis, the decisions wait is so much worse. I also figured I could retake my LSAT if I did that badly. I thought I did badly, but I actually scored how I did on the vast majority of my preptests. So, yeah, law schools decisions.

Please, please let me in first choice and overlook my disclosure....

LG was always my best section, and when I opened up the 2nd section of the test in October, I was like, yay, games! And then it quickly devolved into WTF?!IDON'TKNOWISITB?! THERE IS NOT ENOUGH INFORMATION IN THIS GAME!!!!!! WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!?!?!?! And almost tears.

But then there was another section of games, that I could do, so I was pretty sure that the garment-rending, teeth-gnashing one had to be experimental.

Still, being a splitter makes the decisions wait worse for me. I also want to invent a time machine so I can go make my GPA higher.

Unless my cycle goes really well, I also want a time machine to go pick some easy liberal arts major.

On the other hand, I'm employable right now for 65-75k without any more education, so at least i have a fall back.

I could handle being a nervous wreck for three weeks, terrible as it may have been. I knew that I couldnt be a nervous wreck for 3-5 months, so waiting for decisions has been relatively stress-free--particularly after getting that first acceptance.

Tomorrow, however, will be a terrible, terrible, day filled with anxiety awaiting my Chicago response.

Decisions has definitely been a lot worse for me. You're not going to end up waiting an extra 3 weeks longer than you expected for your LSAT scores. Plus it is based solely on your abilities, you saw all the questions, you have a pretty good idea of whether you did great or mediocre or crappy. There's too much subjectivity in schools' decisions, it makes me nervous.

its a shorter wait for your LSAT score, I hadn't been on TLS yet, and I was given a date on when they would be released.

Score.

I thought it went well, but you never know. I didn't do well on practice tests until the end, and was nervous about that. Once I got my score, I knew it was good and would be able to go somewhere I wanted to be. Once I got my first decision (American), it was icing on the cake after that. It helps I heard really early - 1 month after I sent in apps, and wasn't expecting to hear after 1/1/11.

LSAT Score. At least with a score you know kind of what chance you have based on LSN. And you can only really be pleasantly suprised after you get your score (getting into a reach or something), you should have already prepared yourself if your numbers are low. But, after you take the LSAT and you're waiting on your score 9 times out of 10 you are going to score lower than expected. (Happened to me twice, I actually don't know anyone who did better than they thought)

Decisions... the LSAC email with my score didn't say they "regret to inform" me that they really liked my test, but are placing me on a score waitlist and will tell me what I got maybe next month, or a week before school starts.
