Spoke with an adcomm yesterday, and he told me they will be dipping into the WLs. He hinted that a majority of the preliminary WL releases will happen yesterday and today. Good luck!! I hope most of us last

I had to dig for it, but it looks like he's a big reverse splitter. So UVA must feel pretty good about their LSAT median and are looking to bump GPA, at least for now.

+1. I applied to schools last year too, so I've been living this lifestyle for two years now!!! I'm hoping UVA puts that all to rest though

Thanks! I was completely shocked when I got the call and still dont feel completely deserving of it considering my numbers.(high gpa/low lsat)

I was waitlisted early in the cycle (a non ED applicant) and sent an updated resume a few months ago and a LOCI just recently which was really focused on why I wanted UVA and what I felt I could contribute to the class.

I was accepted via phone call yesterday and, having not spoken to the admissions staff before that point, I have to say im so impressed by how kind amd professional they all are. Really made me fall in love with the school even more.

That being said- I wouldnt be too sure they are looking for high gpas or low lsats, since its the waitlist they are trying to fill spaces with a certain profiles which could include region, work experience after undergrad, gender, etc. ; Either way im so excited to have been admitted and I hope all those waiting hear soon!!
