It would be nice to hear something - anything! But I'm guessing a lot of offices are closed this week, so I'm not holding my breath yet.

Why do some schools take 2+ weeks to go complete and some schools can have your file done in 1-3 days? I applied to Wake and UCincy 10 days ago and they have yet to even send me an acknowledgement email. I know its the holidays but its still rather odd to see the disparity between how schools handle things.

I applied to McGeorge 12/15 and went complete on 12/15. I haven't heard anything from them since then, but it was very odd that it was processed so quickly.

Uhhh I applied to Mcgeorge on Dec 15th and am still incomplete. Very weird.

Really? I would think they would treat all the entering applications the same if it's the same date.

ooh, didn't know this thread already existed. thank god i'm not alone haha. looks like nobody should expect any news from duke until 1/3 since i applied PT over 10 days ago and got the email that they're on vacation so they won't give out decisions until earliest 1/3.

Applied everywhere (11 schools) between 12/8 - 12/24. Complete at some.
In review at USC, U Minnesota and WUSTL.
12/12, 12/23, and 12/30 respectively.

Hope to hear something within the next 3 weeks!!

well guess we're inching closer and closer to show time. i'm hoping the next two weeks will give me at least some answers.

sent all of my apps( 17) in between 11/20 and 12/5. Heard back from WVU, MSU, UB and Rutgers ( in at all of them). Havent heard back from any other school. I think they all were closed this week, and will be opening back up on Monday. Hopefully, by then they will be releasing a big batch of decisions ( and all with good news). I would really like to finish planning school visits, and narrowing down the list of schools ( you can list up to 10 schools on the fasfa form) to make the final decision by mid march.

Also: thuse that have narrowed down their school list to ten or less. Fill out the fasfa form and submit it asap. You will hear your final financial aid decision sooner, and will be able to make a final decision earlier. Finacial aid funding is important part of the decision making process for me, and probably someone else on here as well.

Thats the great thing about being a later applicant (according to the crazy TLS standards) you get really cool app fee waivers I just got mine for Duke priority track, so hopefully I'll here back in a couple of weeks. Do you remember how long it took from when you submitted to decision?

Sent 22 of 24 between 1/5 and 1/7, because I'd heard you shouldn't send them in when the school is on break. Now I feel foolish and so terribly late! My goodness, I am jealous of those who are hearing. At least I'm in review at 2 schools.

Heard back from my only December application (Denver, Applied 12/20, Complete 12/21) yesterday (1/11) and was accepted! Still waiting on Colorado, Minnesota, and Kansas, however... Which were all complete by 11/15. WTF?!

don't feel foolish TLS is not the normal applicant pool. I'm sure you'll do just fine. The best thing you did was cast a wide net. At first I applied to 15 but I've gotten 5 more app waivers since then so I'm up to 20 (not to mention the temple, regents and miami waivers I'm not going to use). The apps the more chances to be accepted.

I applied to Michigan a month ago and I don't even have a status checker email yet. I don't know if I'm complete or anything. I applied to Duke on the 10th of this month and I've been under review for 3 days. It took a total of 11 days from when I sent my app in W&L to get in while I've been in review at Berkeley for over a month. I don't think there is any rhyme or reason to any of it.

Whats weird for me is I havent gone under review at any of my more auto admit/good numbers schools, yet the schools i'm UR at are where I am competitive at...

finally acceptances for us Dec. people are starting to come in.

I got acceptances from Pitt, Miami and Temple within the last couple of days so that's 4/20 acceptances from my Dec Apps, still waiting on the other 16.
