Checking in. Best 11 second phone call ever. Barring a rubenstein at chicago I will probably be a harvard man next year. Rents and gf got the immediate email. Right after the call I had to drive with my boss to a meeting, so I told him the news (he has always told me I'd be crazy not to go). I can finally wear the harvard shirt I bought when I visited in october.

Congrats everyone!

I got a call early this afternoon, but was visiting my grandmother... Thought "I don't know anyone with a 617 area code!" so I sent it to voicemail.

She woulda been pretty excited if I had got admitted while standing in her living room. I mentioned the admit to my wife but otherwise haven't told a soul. It's REALLY going to come down to money for me unfortunately, so I need to just wait wait wait until I get offers from everybody.

haha. Man, 617 is Boston Area! Oh well, congratulations, now you got a voice mail sitting there to let everyone listen to it.

Me too, but I'm still going to hold off a final decision/withdraw from all other schools until ASW. Having never visited before, and being kind of a hippie, I'm going to base my decision on how comfortable I feel on campus. Congrats to all!

Man, I can't wait to meet you awesome people! Maybe we should start a facebook group?

Hey all!

Hope to see you all at ASW, as I will be a tour guide and greeter for at least one of the two weekends. Enjoy the glory of a very happy Thanksgiving.

EDIT: Also, feel free to send any questions my way, and if demand requires I will start a question-answer thread. It's time for procrastination, anyway.

We dont have binders/logins yet so no one knows

Today a prof asked me to stay a bit after class b/c he wanted to discuss the slipping quality of my work(nothing crazy bad. 85 on a problem set and 91 on exam)... I just told him I graduate in 3 weeks so Im coasting haha... Harvard would NOT be proud.

Who is going to start obsessively checking their mailbox for that binder this week? My status checker indicated that it was sent yesterday, so it will hopefully be here by tomorrow.

Would somebody (preferably in the Midwest) post when they do receive their Harvard binder in the mail? Mail service at my apartment is atrocious, and because I'm assuming that the binder will be too big to just fit in our narrow mail slots, I expect them to just leave it sitting outside my door all weekend. If I could get an idea of when it arrives, I could head down to Ann Arbor to pick it up. TIA.

Edited: Has anyone actually started a Facebook group yet?

Looking at last years thread.. it seems people got the admission binder sent message on their status by at least 11/24 but it wasnt actually mailed out until 12/1 and the first reported receipt was 12/3.
I dont think anyone has started a Facebook group yet..

Got my JR2 just now. In via status checker. Full-ride via snail mail. Complementary blow-job via UPS. Good news because Harvard is a safety in case I get dinged at Yale.
