Re: Louisville 2010 Applicants
Im going to be submitting my application as soon as I get my December score. I took the LSAT once before and for reasons that are a compilation of my own fault and extenuating circumstances only scored a 152. I have a 3.75 gpa and am a Kentucky resident. I'm expecting a higher score on the december administration though. I guess we will see what happens when scores come out.

still complete and ready for review as of 11/8.
those that heard: are you in state? did your status checker update or did they just e-mail you the decision? I am out of state, but above both medians for the full time program.

Application just submitted. LSAT jumped to a 159 and I'm in state so I'm feeling pretty good. Any idea how long before I should expect a decision?

I'm STILL sitting at "complete and read for review" as of 10/14. No idea what is taking so long, I feel like each day I wait to go into review my chances get slimmer and slimmer.

Re: Louisville 2010 Applicants
Went into review today with a 153/3.68. I have some fairly strong connections to UL (great-uncle and father attended, as well as one of my LORs) and also wrote Why UL essay. Now the anxiety kicks in.

Re: Louisville 2010 Applicants
I talked to the admissions office briefly today. They said the first round of info packets/scholarship information was sent out yesterday, and that they were sending out some more later this week.
Not sure about anyone else here, but I've been accepted into both Louisville and UK OOS, and am currently waiting on scholarship information from both schools before I decide which to attend... provided I don't receive an acceptance letter from Indiana-Bloomington

Re: Louisville 2010 Applicants
In review today. About how long has UofL taken to make decisions for those once under review?

I'm afraid of being stuck I'm the "complete and ready for review" for an eternity. I think that once you're under review you should know by the end of this week, maybe next. What are your numbers?

Nothing to boast about. However, I do have some soft factors. I worked full-time all throughout undergraduate school, legislative internship, poor family, significant upward grade-trend, and three recommendations from professors who have taught me throughout undergrad.Neidermeyer519 wrote: What are your numbers?

That's cool. Louisville seems to take a lot of factors into consideration, so that will definitely help you. Are you IS or OOS?pseudonym1 wrote:Nothing to boast about. I'm in-state. Thus far, I have been accepted at NKU and placed on hold at UK. An acceptance into UofL would be an exonerating experience.

Re: Louisville 2010 Applicants
I have seen you on LSN as well... getting even waitlisted at UK speaks volumes to your file in my opinion. Must be something people are liking in there. As in an stater with low numbers, I am dreaming for UL (where I'm from) and hoping for NKU...pseudonym1 wrote:I'm in-state. Thus far, I have been accepted at NKU and placed on hold at UK.
