In review 11/18; complete 9/22.

Another "strong consider" on my list (most are). Nervous this will be a ding, though, because of my PS (in retrospect, I think I sound pompous). Sigh.

I'm not capable of doing the complex math necessary to convert that to a traditional grading scale, so I'll just act sort of impressed to hedge my bets.
A 3.28?
You, sir, have solved my math puzzle!

Its simply 82% of the highest possible GPA...so if your school had a 4.33 system I would have been off by .27 points and you'd have a 3.55 I do believe.

Haha...I am not a hard sceince/math person...just logic/discrete logic...which I guess you need simple math for...discrete predicate logic is angering me as we speak.

I would love either, but both are long shots. NYU has the rankings advantage and the fact that I have a strong support system there. However, I want to practice in Chicago, and I really admire Dean Van Zandt and what he's done at NW (that I expect will carry on for at least a couple years after his departure).

If by some miracle I get into both, I'll really try to figure out which beats the other. Realistically, though, I'm hoping for Illinois and/or Notre Dame as they would position me well for employment at my old firm's Chicago office.

Got my rejection email today, not too surprised, it was worth the zero dollar long shot, 3.35 164 ED just not good enough.

Congratulations to those who got accepted. It must feel great.

My condolences to those who were rejected...it really does suck and it is something I will likely feel soon enough. Keep your head up though! :D

I applied to Illinois! It's one of my top choices.
The admissions office is holding my application till it receives my December 2010 LSAT so it'll be a while before I find out whether I've been accepted or not.
