Depends on the scholarship offer and how everything else works out. Wife loves the idea of living on TX, can't blame her. My best friend from HS lives in Austin already.

Has anyone who has gotten a call so far not been told to expect an upcoming scholarship offer? I'm just wondering if they're making calls to all the people to whom they intend to offer money first, before contacting everyone else.

I was told to expect an offer. So maybe that is the case. Look like on LSN most early admits from last year received offers.

incredibly excited for asw! I'd been trying to justify visiting Austin that weekend and then it happened to magically be the asw dates! I feel like this is a great sign.

My professor in UG lol'ed when people called JD holder "Doctor" so I must earn a real PhD to earn that right.

I would be the first person to admit that I love to argue (no did not write this in my PS lol) but that's all it is. I rarely get personal or rude about it anymore because HS was so long ago haha. I just want to have a good time! (arguing)

Does UT give travel stipends for ASW? I am excited to visit, unless that scholarship letter never gets here.

I agree, although I'm guilty of being pretty rude at times.

I'm not sure it gives travel stipends, you should call and ask as I'm sure others have the same question. I live in town so I just have to walk over for ASW.

When's ASW? I didn't get any info about it. But then I might have been too busy jumping for joy (in my office... my officemate thinks I'm weird) to pay attention if she disclosed that information.

I wrote down March 24-25 but that's Thur-Fri. So now I am not sure. Anyone else? Wait for the Fresh Law site to come alive.

The letter that came with the acceptance packet says "Our Admitted Students Day (ASD) will be held March 24-25, 2011." I wonder why they call it an admitted students day if its two day? Also, is UT's ASD/W typically a Thursday and Friday or is it usually a Friday and Saturday?

Hmm.. Duke is 25-26.. anyone know if UT offers a stipend for ASD.. search isnt cooperating.

ETA: Seems like last year some people got a $200 stipend. No clue how they selected who got it.
