He was only one person though. I do not see them mailing everyone they reject, that would be costly and wasteful. Best of luck everyone!
They mail everyone decisions, both rejects and acceptances.

jeremychristiansen wrote:No luck today. The status checker says to call if it doesn't get here by one week from the decision date. So, if it isn't here by tomorrow at 10:30 a.m., I guess I will call...The status checker says that their policy is to not release decisions over the phone or by email. So, the big question for me is, will they honestly do something like reconfirm my address and send out another one? Or would they tell me over the phone? And if I am getting dinged, would they really do it over the phone (that seems really harsh right?), or choose a route only slightly less awkward like, "Hold on let me update it on your status checker...Okay all done you can go and see it now...Have a nice day," then I go check it out and see DENIED? Or something similar through email? I am interested not only in the decision, but now, exactly how they plan on getting it to me, if it does not come tomorrow in the mail. Anyone who go theirs today, please let us know, even if it is bad news. I don't know why I think it reasonable to assume that the decision of one student received in a similar manner and time as mine would have any bearing on the outcome of my decision...

Haha you're stressing ME out.

Today should be the big day. T-minus 4 hours and counting until either a letter arrives or I call Baylor.

Just call them. They will most likely send you a copy of the letter via email and/or tell you what you want to know.

My status checker now says to contact the office after 14 days instead of 7 if the letter doesn't arrive. I guess that means I will be waiting awhile...

No, they send one out to every applicant after they have received the application. Did you apply just recently?

Got dinged. Wasn't a top choice, but it would've been nice to get in.

The Baylor Dean of Admissions came and spoke at a meeting for an organization of mine. I found out the reason they do purely letters and no online checker is because they had some huge glitches and problems when they did the online status checker. Its to bad because people will be waiting on letter for years to come.

Baylor's LS building is georgeous, right on the river.

This is true, though I like how in the brochure they managed to blur out the crappy apartment complex directly across the river from the LS.

Congrats! When did you go apply/go complete? Are you going to attend?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
