I did my interview way before I applied. They can't put too much weight on it beyond making sure you are actually interested in Vanderbilt and not just applying just in case or because you are applying to peer schools.

According to LSN, three days ago.

I've been complete since 10/3 and nothing yet.

Hey! I didn't want to make a new thread for this, but I wanted to remind everyone to either create or update their LSN/Admissions Dean profiles. It's a little break from checking status checkers obsessively, and it's easier to get all the dates correct now rather than going back at the end and trying to remember. LSN has been such an immense help to me (and I'm sure all of you, as well) so I'd like to make sure we're giving the next cycles our useful information.

Also, if you're concerned about privacy (I am!) you can keep your information private while the cycle is ongoing. I am keeping my profile on "hidden" throughout the cycle but updating it regularly, then once I've made final decisions, I'll open it up.

Anddd, I'm posting this in all the waiting threads, so don't get annoyed if you see it more than once.

From what I hear, interviews arent that meaninful anyway. You just let Vandy know that you are REALLY interested in them by doing the interview.

Of note: Scholarship won't be sent out until February.

I went complete 9/15 and now have decision mailed date 11/17/10. I live about 3.5 hrs away from campus so if sent fedex it should be there today(I got nothing in usps). They dont reject ppl this early so Im assuming Im in (plus I have been given a hint or two by their office).

My decision was also mailed on the 16th. Hasn't come in yet though, but I live on the West coast... Maybe it'll be in today when I get back from work.
