Cuz the shot at money thing was pretty slim per LSN (the only people who got $$ with my stats were like HYP or some extravagant soft that I lack). So I figured why not increase my chances at getting into my dream school? I mean, nothing is EVER a lock at CLS and my gpa is slightly below median.

Any money award under half tuition is need-based anyway, so ED is not a bad call if you're dead-set on CLS (although you're in RD anyway).

Waiting for my LSAT score to apply...half my PTs were good enough, half of them were close...

Columbia's the place I need to be, hopefully I get lucky.

I'm a deferral from last year's cycle. Good luck to all you guys! I'll probably be seeing a lot of you in August.

I applied ED, mailed my contract in and everything. My status checker says "Complete" and I got a complete email on 9/20. I submitted on 9/4. Just another month and a half until we start to hear...

I'm also complete, question though. I applied, and later asked to be switched to ED and mailed in the ED agreement. Is this supposed to be reflected anywhere? Nowhere on my status checker does it say ED letter or anything..... should I e-mail them to ask if they got it? :|

Call and ask to check. I'm pretty sure that admissions offices can drag up your file to see if this has happened. It will be faster and less hassle than emailing, imo.

I did the exact same thing as you. I just went complete and my status checker does not acknowledge my ED status either, so I think we're good.

Went complete 10/15 (submitted around 10/5). I'm a splitter in the bad way for Columbia (75th %+ GPA, at 25% LSAT), but here's to hoping!

How late is too late to apply to Columbia?

Am thinking about applying, but will probably not be able to have rec. letters in until late November/early December, and am wondering if that is too late.
