Just met a person at a birthday party last night who was waitlisted last cycle and showed up to the admissions office in July with a check and pretty much said, 'If you admit me, I will pay the deposit now' and got an email the next day with an offer. Wish I had the eggs to do that.

everyone withdraw!!!... i want my spot... and that story about the person showing up with a check is bogus... there are stories like that on a couple different school waitlist blogs....

I have not heard one word from them. Guess I'm still on the waitlist, but not letter or emeail received to confirm.

Just called...."It is difficult to predict, but as of today, the class is full, and no one has withdrawn, so there has not been any waitlist movement."

Just spoke to admissions. Class is still full, and the admissions counselor said she doesn't think it is likely they will be dipping into the waitlist. I'm still hoping that there is movement when tuition is due.

I know of people last year who got in literally as they were driving to move in at other schools.

if they are overbooked you can wait for the next one and get a $400 voucher. :)

In all seriousness, though...so many waitlists haven't even started to move yet, I think time will really tell. CLS and NYU are both biding their sweet time.
