I just got waitlisted at Tulane, or in their terms granted a Waitlist offer. Not sure what to do next because I really did want to return to New Orleans for law school and I've visted Tulane Law during my undergrad years in New Orleans. I'm really thinking of just asking them to remove my application from consideration.

I'm confused. If you really want to go, ride it out. You'll be spending the majority of the next three years wherever you go, seems like you'd want to give your first choice a chance to accept you later on.

You got into Georgie and rejected from Miami? The fuck? I got into Miami and waitlisted by Georgia, although I don't plan on attending either school. Weird ass admissions sometimes.

I got waitlisted by SMU and IU-Bloomington and Kansas

Got into LSU, Miami, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas and my safety Texas Tech

Rejected by Tennessee, IU-Indianapolis

Still waiting to hear from: Arizona, Arizona State, William and Mary, UNLV, UNM and Utah, FSU

I got alot of stuff from schools in Jan and early Feb. The schools I got waitlisted from and didn't hear back from I'm sure just threw my app into the regular admission pile. I'm not planning on hearing back from any school until Mid to Late April at the earliest. Reason for this is early April is when alot of first seat deposits are due on admitted students.

It is likely I won't hear back from some schools until May or June though...which really sucks because I want to start planning on where to move and live by that time. William and Mary and ASU are probably the only two schools on my list that I would be willing to flip my plans around if I got in in May and June. William and Mary because I love the school and ASU because I love the area (and the women).

$17k/yr. It's nice but it won't affect my IBR payments assuming I do PI. You wouldn't deposit at UMN and just assume you'd get off one of the WLs?

Not assume, but risk it. If it didn't work out I'd ED somewhere in Sept. But with 17K I'd prob just to to Minnesota.

Don't go to Seattle or Loyola with a 172 LSAT. If you did ED at Virginia, you'd have a great shot. Strong chance at Michigan and Northwestern (with a year removed from undergrad), too. Wait until next year and apply early in the cycle.

Cycle's been bad for the ego but good for the wallet since WUSTL's a good option if I decide I'm debt conscious. I'm waiting on Vandy for $ info since I just got in and I'd rather go there than Georgetown anyway, but it's just the principle of the thing. Time to step up the T13 trolling and remind GTown admits that Vandy places better to make me feel better about myself
