yes, I am keeping my options open at this point. This includes the option of taking a year off and re-taking the LSATakstrong wrote:Sorry to hear that. Do you think you'll stay on the waitlist?jgrin wrote:I got WLakstrong wrote:According to LSN it looks like another round of decisions were received today.
This is odd to me, being that people with worse numbers than me on both ends (LSAT/GPA) were accepted and I wasn't.

Waitlisted 4/28, but I got a call from Admissions that same day offering me a spot. Weird...
Anyway, I'm turning them down, hopefully one of yall will get that spot

Complete 3/15. I got a phone call asking if I'd made any commitments on the 4/28 I was offered a spot contingent on verbal commitment. I think I was in the twilight zone between accepted and waiting list.

Re: Texas Tech 2010
I know that Tech does not use an LSAT/GPA index in evaluating applications, so there is more of a holistic approach to the application review process. This could be advantageous for some, since it might allow writing quality, LORs, or something special about an applicant shine through before an application is tossed in a "deny" pile. So, if your numbers were below the median, there must have been something they viewed as pretty impressive about you. I'd say that's pretty cool - congrats.akstrong wrote:Sorry to hear that.
