I only applied to schools I would absolutely love to attend. Naturally, that means that I'm in this club too.

Pretty sure I will get in somewhere. I'm just sick of waiting. Good luck to all in this thread.

Thanks everyone, I went with a very risky personal statement (seemed like a great idea), and now I'm really worried that it actually might have cost me some acceptances. I'm so freaking out.Z3RO wrote:That's some rough karma.D. H2Oman wrote:No need to mock me, I feel bad about lying. I thought I would get in, so I just said I did. I did the same thing... I had one really lame generic one and one really abstract one... went for big money... might have turned up whammies.D. Re: In @ Nowhere Club
I applied to 8 so far (still want to apply to 3):
2 were safe; 2 were top-choices (low-reach); 2 were mid-reaches; 1 major reach
Accepted: 1 (my safe school - just found out today!)
Pending: 7
Rejected: 0
I hate this waiting game

I feel you, I did the same exact thing. I had a very average one written out. But, I went with one from the heart about how in college I used to go to the bar pretty much every night and find any fat girl I could and take her home with me and have sex with her. Yea I read it over for him. I told him the conversion to Islam might be cause discrimination, but we didn't think it'd hurt that bad.phoenix323 wrote:Did you seriously write about that?D.
