Re: POLL: To how many schools are you applying?
Applied to 33. Heard from 3; all acceptances so far.
So far it seems that I've applied to the most schools. I'll also probably end up having the worst acceptance:rejection ratio too.

Applied to 8, still in limbo at all of them.
This is what I get for having my safeties (Hastings and Davis) be notoriously slow. At this point hearing nothing is an ok sign I think...at least I haven't been rejected from the schools where I am a "consider" or "weak consider"

Re: POLL: To how many schools are you applying?
17 so far. -3, applied to with my original LSAT score (158), of which 2 are not top 100. I plan on doing 4 more. Two are extreme reaches and one wants an interview which I'm not inclined to give. I feel like I've applied to way too many and I feel a little weird about it. But I've only spent about $700 so far, so that's... good. In a sad sort of way.
edit: heard from... one (and it's from not-top 100)

I've heard from 7 of 15 so far. You can find my numbers and the schools that have rendered decisions on LSN.

Re: POLL: To how many schools are you applying?
Heard from 12 of 20, 11 acceptances and a waitlist at UVA.
I didn't mean to apply to this many, but half gave me fee waivers and since you never know what kind of moolah you're going to get, I kept sending them.

Applied to 2 - UVA (ED) and Duke with fee waivers, in at UVA and withdrew from Duke. My cycle made my wallet very happy.

Re: POLL: To how many schools are you applying?
Applied to 27 because of a) fee waivers, b) giving myself a broad range of super reaches, reaches, targets, and a few safeties (hopefully resulting in $$ for targets and safeties), and c) the only tie i have to any particular location is family in NJ/NY, so at this point i'm being extremely open minded as to where i want to live... this is my last chance to move somewhere completely different and start fresh- exciting!
Heard from 1 and was accepted... sure to be waiting a while on the rest because of my Dec. LSAT score.

11, but really many of them were only because of fee waivers. I've heard back from 8.

TWoodWil, I'm pretty sure I'll be the reigning king of crappy admit/application ratios...18 apps, in at 1, flat-out rejected at 9, 0 waitlists. Granted most were reaches-super reaches, but still...Applied to all of them in October and most of the rejections took until the past couple of weeks to come through. Haven't heard about scholarship at my one admit yet, although I was admitted months ago.

Re: POLL: To how many schools are you applying?
My stats are padded by acceptances to a lot of lower-ranked schools. So my super reaches, of which I have a more than fair amount, are negated by the less prestigious schools. When all is said and done I'm looking at at least 12-14 outright rejections.nashuatree wrote:TWoodWil, I'm pretty sure I'll be the reigning king of crappy admit/application ratios...18 apps, in at 1, flat-out rejected at 9, 0 waitlists. However, at higher ranked school my results are quite varied. Accepted at W&L (30), wait listed at Fordham (also 30), wait listed at George Mason (41).
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
